Polly L. Martin
Veterinarian & Owner
Dr. Polly L. Martin has owned Salmon Creek Veterinary Clinic since May 31, 2014. She is a member of several professional organizations, including the AVMA, WSVMA, AAHA, and AAEP. Her areas of interest include radiology, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery.
For Dr. Martin, one of the most rewarding parts of her work is seeing a sick pet recover — whether it’s a purr or a wagging tail after days of illness. She also finds deep meaning in supporting clients through the loss of a beloved pet, sharing both tears and laughter in those moments.
Originally from Washington and Utah, Dr. Martin graduated cum laude from Western Washington University with a degree in zoology and chemistry. She earned her DVM from the University of California, Davis, focusing on companion animal medicine.
Dr. Kelsey Enright
Veterinarian
Dr. Kelsey Enright grew up in the suburbs of Minneapolis, MN, always dreaming of becoming a veterinarian. After earning her bachelor’s degree from Colby College in Maine, she worked as a veterinary assistant at MIT before pursuing her veterinary degree at the Royal Veterinary College in London — blending her love for travel with her passion for animal care.
Dr. Enright began her veterinary career in Portland, where she has lived and worked for several years. She’s excited to be part of the Salmon Creek Veterinary Clinic team. Her professional interests include internal medicine, dermatology, preventive care, and senior pet wellness. Outside of work, she enjoys Portland’s food scene, kayaking, reading, and adventuring outdoors with her husband and their dog, Bellatrix.
Dr. Brooke Miller
Veterinarian
Dr. Brooke Miller grew up in Las Vegas, NV, where her love for animals started early — caring for pets ranging from dogs to sugar gliders and snakes. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, graduating cum laude from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. Before veterinary school, she also interned as a zookeeper at Wildlife Safari in Oregon.
Dr. Miller received her veterinary degree from Colorado State University, where she developed a strong interest in companion animal medicine. Her professional focus includes internal medicine, preventive care, cardiology, and neurology. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, painting, online gaming with family, and hiking with her dog, Skylar.
Dr. Ashley Barott
Veterinarian
Dr. Ashley Barott loves helping pets live their happiest, healthiest lives. She grew up in Oregon and earned her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science before attending the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine. After spending several years in Minnesota and Tennessee, she is happy to be back in the Pacific Northwest. Dr. Barott has special interests in feline medicine, pain management, geriatric medicine, urgent care, and soft tissue surgery. After starting her career in general practice, she worked as an emergency and urgent care clinician for several years and has transitioned back to general practice over the last few years.
Dr. Barott loves all animals and has had the pleasure of living with several dogs, cats, and even reptiles throughout the years. She enjoys building warm, supportive relationships with pet owners and is looking forward to meeting you and your pets!
