Kat practice manager at SCVC

Kat | Practice Manager

Kat has been part of the veterinary world since 2006, bringing years of experience supporting both pets and the people who care for them. Her journey with animals began in wildlife rehabilitation and education, followed by earning her associate degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management from Moorpark College and her bachelor's degree from Washington State University. Before joining Salmon Creek Veterinary Clinic in 2021, she worked at several privately owned small animal clinics and served as the Office Manager at the Oregon State University Large Animal Veterinary Teaching Hospital.

Kat loves being part of the team at Salmon Creek Veterinary Clinic, where every day is filled with collaboration, compassion, and laughter. Kat says her team makes it a joy to come to work every day, and she’s proud to be part of a clinic that truly puts pets first.

At home, Kat and her husband share life with their sweet dog, Alexis, their stubborn Snowshoe cat, David, and their soon-to-be one year old daughter. When she’s not at the clinic, Kat loves reading, hiking, traveling, and camping, especially when it means making new memories with her family.

Jeremy | Clinical Staff Manager

Jeremy began his career in veterinary medicine in April of 2015 as a veterinary assistant in North Carolina. Early on, he had the opportunity to learn under the guidance of an exceptionally experienced technician, an experience that helped shape his strong clinical foundation and passion for patient care. After relocating to the West Coast, Jeremy continued to grow in the field, expanding his skills and leadership within the veterinary team.

Jeremy has served as our Clinical Staff Manager for over two years, overseeing our technicians and veterinary assistants. In this role, he is dedicated to supporting his team, fostering professional growth, and ensuring a high standard of care for both patients and clients. His commitment to collaboration and continual improvement has made him an integral part of our clinic’s leadership.

Outside of the clinic, Jeremy enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, their menagerie of cats, and their small, cat-like dog, Boo. He can often be found camping, hiking, cooking or grilling or gathering with friends for a game of BINGO.
